Under the initiative and funding of Jamuna Bank Foundation, Chairman of Jamuna Bank Limited and Jamuna Bank Foundation Al-Haj Nur Mohammed distributed around 2000 blankets to the underprivileged and cold-stricken people in Tejgaon, Dhaka Varsity area, Panthapath, Karwan Bazar, Hight Court Mazar Road, Katabon, Nabisco Mour, Bijoy Sarani and Dhaka Medical College adjacent areas of Dhaka city throughout the night. During this time, the bank's Managing Director and CEO Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed along with the senior staff of the bank's head office and the branch heads of different branches of Dhaka spontaneously participated in the blanket distribution.

With the initiative and financing of Jamuna Bank Foundation, blankets were distributed among the poor, helpless and cold-stricken people in various places throughout the capital overnight. Engr. Md. A.K.M Mosharraf Hussain, Director, Jamuna Bank Limited, distributed blankets among the poor, helpless and cold-stricken people. Managing Director & CEO Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director Md. Abdus Salam along with Managers and High officials were present in the blanket distribution program. Jamuna Bank Foundation distributed 2,000 blankets on the occasion.

At the initiative and finance by Jamuna Bank Foundation (JBF) Al-Haj Nur Mohammed, chairman of the Foundation, distributed huge number of blankets to the winter stricken refugees of the Dhaka city footpath at Dhanmondi, Greenroad, Farmgate, Karwan Bazar, Nilkhet, Polashi, Jatiya Shahid Minar, Dhaka Medical College, High Court area, Sohrawardhi Uddan and Gulistan in Dhaka on 29.01.2016 from 1.00 am to 5.00 am. Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed, CEO of JBF and DMD of JBL was present including officers of Jamuna Bank Limited. After completion of blankets distribution Al-Haj Nur Mohammed offered a munajat to the almighty Allah for safe, sound and expected life of the winter distressed people. It is also mentionable that Al-Haj Nur Mohammed distributed huge number of blankets at Mohammadpur slum area few days ago.

Jamuna Bank Foundation distributed Free Blanket at Patchgachi, Jatrapur, Ghogadoha, Moghalbasa, Holokhana, Thetrai, Neowasi, Santoshpur, Ramkhana and Raigonj Union Parishad of Kurigram District. Al-Haj Nur Mohammed, Chairman, Jamuna Bank Foundation was present in the program as the Chief Guest. Besides Md. Imtiaz Hossain, ADC of Kurigram district, Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director of Jamuna Bank Limited and Md. Mostafizur Rahman, UNO of Kurigram Sadar were present on the occasion. 2500 blankets were distributed among the winter distressed people of the kurigram district.

Jamuna Bank Foundation organized and financed to give blankets to the poor. District Commissioner Md. Saiful Hasan Badal inaugurates the event as the chief guest of the program. Vice Chairman of Sadar Upazilla Parishad, Monsur Ahmed Kalam, Mayor of Mir kadim pourosova Shahidul Islam Shahin were also present as honorable guests. Chairman of Jamuna Bank Foundation, Alhaj Nur Mohammad presided over the program. Md. Abul Shahjahan , Managing Director(CC ) delivered a thank giving speech. 1500 blankets were given in the program to the poor.
